Adam Nathan's writing on Substack is frequently personal; a curation of small moments from his life thus far. But his recollections somehow feel entirely relatable.
This touched me so much and brought to mind childhood memories I had almost forgotten. But the paragraph in which you describe the molding of a child’s personality like a potter working clay struck me so much that I had to read it over and over again. I saw that same soft responsiveness become firmed into personality when my sons were that age. It was miraculous to behold the man they were becoming even at that tender age. I will never forget the tender way you described it, nor the vulnerable expression of your youthful experiences. Thank you for sharing them with us instead of letting them be hidden away.
This was a joy and a pleasure to read. So many rich layers well crafted. Each phrase pregnant. Gestating and then the invitation to birth it for myself. It is the small moments of our life that so enrich the whole.

Thank you for this gracious acknowledgment and restack of my work. It is deeply appreciated, and I'm glad there's a connection with it.
