I LOVE reading all your beautifully written human articles. I am so glad Melanie is well and hope she remains so. I understand now a little more why you were living in France. I had the idea you lived just down from me near Seattle then you mention New York then France so I was confused. What an interesting life you lead! Taking the time to write about it, and sharing it with all of us, takes some doing, so well done and Thanks! You should write a book if you haven't already!
😘 I love sharing it. I never regret a minute of my life that I spend writing- and to have readers that feel it is somewhere in the blessing department. Here’s a cheat sheet on times.

Seattle (Bainbridge Island and Mt. Baker neighborhood): 99-2017,
A friend of mine completed the journey and told me about it. I enjoyed her account. I recall years ago reading Peter Matthiessen’s The Snow Leopard. It was a satisfying book. A lot of walking and hiking.
Wow! you have moved around! Fascinating!! I kind of liked the idea you may still be down the way from me where you were for the longest it seems; 18 years minus 1. Why Brooklyn? So different! How did your children, wife deal with all the moving, though I guess they weren't around in the years before Seattle? Not nosy, just interested.
How could I never have answered this! Looooove Brooklyn. It's like being a country bumpkin outside of NYC proper. The energy is amazing. Food. Flow of people. I love the rush of making safely back to my apartment.
Beautiful. It's always so amazing to me when we find out what a stranger seated next to us is carrying: it's always something you need to hear.
In a roundabout way that is my overarching observation of waking the Camino.

There will be a quiz.
I read your column and liked it very much. Peace and well-being to you and your family.
What a wonderful way to start my day. And thank you for the kind words. Do you have a personal connection to the Camino de Santiago? (or long walks!)

....can I restack it?
Not only can you, I'd love it if you would! Especially if you add a brief note about why. And thank you for wanting to restack it. 🙏

Amen. ❤️🙏
I didn’t intend to shed so many tears when I joined SS…
I wondered at the mention of France in earlier letters… I don’t expect this though!
Gulp… I’ve done a lot of that this week, haven’t I Kimberly?
Emptying the reservoir!
