Ever since learning about the singularity years ago, I’ve been appalled that these amoral, money-obsessed tech bros have such outsized influence on our culture. I had to turn of a Sam Altman interview when I became choked with rage. He has zero understanding of human nature or societal well-being and here is is talking about how humans are going to “evolve” by using AI. That’s not how evolution works, my dude.
