A drunken stork, a springish summer, 3/4 time, a baby dust cloud, two kinds of Bronx cheers, and a three-pointer with a child's balloon. And also a zipper and a miracle.
Another fantastic chapter!! Love the quotes, the history...as a Red Sox fan, I had the privilege of watching the best Knuckleball pitcher in the game, Tim Wakefield. Adam, the connection between these two underdogs is heartwarming! Can't wait for next week...
I just watched the documentary Knuckleball about Wakefield. It’s fantastic and it fits in so well to the themes of this story: loners, control, mentoring and what winning means. Definitely worth a watch.
A foot print from Tripod, perhaps a tire print from The Sleepmobile, Reginald’s knuckle prints, in classic Knuckle Ball position, or maybe a pile of dirty pieces of pajama bottoms used on Phineas’s glasses, to the first 300 people in line. I have a very old glove, I would love to get autographed, passed down from my Great Grandfather, Irv .(Unfortunately, he and the generations that followed never even picked up a ⚾️).
oh, not an ending! we have many threads to manage and subplots to come together. (the boil, pinball, tripod, the pitch, the relationshihp with the kid, and, oh, yes, of course, the Sleepmobile.) Not forever to go, but significant ground to cover. Of course, if you were holding a book you'd have lots of pages left to the right. :-) (this is, however, a key moment of connection. Hang on. The ride isn't over yet.

I remember watching Wakefield and Niekro well. They are the two I most think of. I think somewhere I have or had a quote from Wakefield.
Aaaah…. I just remembered exactly where.
He was much loved, an amazing person, as well as a spectacular pitcher ❤️

That's great!! I will look it up :) Thanks 😊
Oh, a fine ending , Adam!
Will there be autograph signings after the movie?

I was so busy clapping for Phineas, I didn’t scroll down further ⬇️
“The Knuckleball Artist” “continues next week”
I beg your pardon. Ok, forget you read this…
We are much closer to the end than the beginning. 😀
Adam! I ♥️ these two characters so much. The scene with Phineas acting out the knuckleball is pure delight.
