Brilliant. All of it! But wow, the ending, the highest honor to go unnoticed. Amen. Amen. Amen.

Davids writing is sublime Julie, his depth of understanding and the meticulous way he transcribes it into word is, for want of a better word, simply heaven !

I love Elvers by Moonlight. I have been listening to David for a long time now. Gorgeous writing. Always profound, steeped in life and history. Poetry and prose , stories of places I have never been, and will never go except through David’s descriptions. A wonderful choice, Susie. One I would have selected myself, though there are many many more to choose from. A rich harvest of words and moments.

I secretly hoped you would approve Lor, Phew!

Davids writing is like walking in on a poem that stretches for miles and miles... and I would happily walk every one of them.

So true, I can also say the same for you. I suppose it could also be said, that your hill is doing the creating and you are its author. I would love to spend an entire day sitting on the hill with you and pointing out our favorite verses from David’s stories;‘oh read this one, wait, when your done, here is my favorite, this is my favorite too…

I have a feeling we’d need a whole day for that rather blissful sounding exercise Lor… what a treat it would be!

That is very kind of you, Chloe. I have, in my little notebook of 'cleverest things' your "we are more often punished by our unkindnesses, than for them". So I had a big smile when I saw you'd listened to something of mine :-)

Oh, my goodness, well, you can’t imagine the size of my smile knowing that. Having just read ‘the ghost with a bucket that sings’ I bow to your brilliance, truly 🙌

I liked this. What did you record this on? I've seen (heard) a few on Soundcloud.

Hi Kim. Thanks for listening. I record on one of those Yeti mics into Adobe Audition - gives me an easy way to cut out the fluffs :-)

I know so little about recording, in fact I've never. But I like the idea of it, just wouldn't know where to start. I'm scared of the idea of vlogging too.
